Granite (http://tanbrown.org) - Hacked BAD

To whom it may concern:

I originally contacted the Granite (http://tanbrown.org) company I had been using for a kitchen top replacement on 11-6-06 requesting 3cm ivory brown- They informed my of a distributor in Tampa had Chivakosky Gold.We were told to go and (http://maplered.com) look at it there. I was told we needed 3 Slabs (http://www.VerdeUbatuba.com) for the 106 sf job. We selected 3 Slabs (http://www.VerdeUbatuba.com) in # sequence. Once it was delivered to the fabricator- they had 2 Slabs (http://www.VerdeUbatuba.com) , and (http://maplered.com) they were not in sequence. When I questioned the obvious I was told not to worry it was fineOf the 2 Slabs (http://www.VerdeUbatuba.com) one had much more coloring we wantedat that point I requested slab #47 on the large island (http://maplered.com) After the paper work came back they said it was Madura Gold . I was charged $ 75.00 a sq ft +under mount cut out of $250. A total of $8200.

We also purchased a 20 sq ft slab they had in stock of Jupter ana Florchza Red for a small island (http://maplered.com) in the kitchen at $90 sq ft. One piece thankfully it has no seams!

As you can see all cuts were not even going in the same direction. When the Granite (http://tanbrown.org) tops were delivered all the orginal tile tops had been removed . The homeowner was having company for the holidays. We had to have the tops installed regardless .After weeks of waiting for their inspector to check the job (they had the same pictures seen here) they agreed to change the off matched pieces.

The big island (http://maplered.com) was patched on the end with another slab piece they ordered. When set in with the existing slab it was much darker .

They refuse to do the whole island (http://maplered.com) again because quote: They would have to do the whole island (http://maplered.com) to do it right, and (http://maplered.com) they would be screwed because theyd have to buy another slab --

I paid them prime $$$$ to do the job right in the first place .
You judge their workmanship and (http://maplered.com) there business practices .
